- Coordinates tee times to keep the course, specifically the 1st tee organized
- Meets & Greets customers all day, great for a very social individual
- Explains the rules to the customers for the day
- Answers any questions that the customer may have
- Friendly disposition a must!
- Works with and is in constant communication with the pro shop staff
- Helps in various ways when outings are scheduled
- Requires standing for long periods of time
- Great source of exercise bringing the carts in and out
- Normal schedule is 3 days a week with one-weekend shift
- Additional shifts available if desired
- Large crew allowing for days off if needed
- Golf is included with the position, the only requirement is to stay away from prime-time tee times
- Schedule completed on a monthly basis so appointments, trips, etc. can be made
- ½ price on food and beverages (non-alcoholic) during work shifts
- Valid driver’s license required to apply for this position
- Individuals hired will learn the ranger position as well
- During the warm months, the starter puts out, monitors, & brings in water jugs. (Smaller 5 gallon jugs)
- Familiarity with the game of golf a must
- Most of the shift is spent operating a golf cart and speaking to customers
- Prime objective is to monitor and enforce the pace of play
- Must be comfortable with people and know how to speak to them respectfully
- Expected to be visible and to assist golfers when needed
- Communicates regularly with the starter and pro shop staff
- Helps with various tasks during golf outings which are assigned by the outside coordinator
- Individuals hired will learn the starter position as well
- During the warm months, the ranger puts out, monitors, and brings in water jugs. (Smaller 5 gallon jugs)

- Individuals are normally assigned the same days each week.

- Washes all golf carts (Fleet of 80 Carts) during each shift.
- Operates a gas power washer to get each cart completely clean.
- Makes each cart presentable for customers playing the following day.
- Checks carts for damage or malfunctions and immediately reports issues to management.
- Parks clean carts in an orderly and organized manner.
- Fuels all carts one time each week.
- Requires some physical activity jumping in and out of carts each shift.
- Works hand-in-hand with Gambler Ridge GC outside staff.
- Works outdoors in various weather conditions
- Keeps the cart barn and cleaning areas clean and organized.
- Individual is professional and friendly to customers.
- Minimum of 3 shifts required each week, more shifts preferred especially during the regular golf season.
- Typical shift starts at 3pm and finishes at darkness (When cart are due back.)
- Golf privileges included with this position with some restrictions during peak tee times.
- Half-price on food and non-alcoholic beverages during work shifts.
- Individual must be 18 years old with a valid NJ driver’s license.
